Charming Chulalongkorn University !
Rotary Peace Centre in Bangkok is located in a compound of Chulalongkorn University. This University is very well known among thai, and is also the oldest university in a country. I have heard that they are now celebrating the 95 anniversary the establishment of this university. This university located in a heart of Bangkok, and it is very easy to access many shopping venues and hotels.
Last Sunday, I took a walk through this university, and wow, it is amazing huge. There are many old and new buildings mix with each other harmoniously. The faculty of art (photo above), look very much like a royal palace or temple. The green gardens and big trees are everywhere.
This university is also excellent in academy. It has been ranked 72nd for Social Science, 86th for Technology and 108th for Life Science and Biomedicine by Times Higher Education and QS World University Ranking in 2008. I am very proud to be part of this great university, even though, it is just only for few months.
